Faa's Fashion
I chanced upon a friend's blog just 1 hour ago. Coincidentally, she has the same name as mine (Fatiha) and we share the same passion for le fashion. Except for the fact that she is 10 times a gorgeous fashionista, 1 year younger than me but an absolute g-e-n-i-u-s at mixmatching outfits to look so adorable. Not like those misfit minahs you see out there.
Then I look at myself and ponder, Hmm, why couldn't I be twice as creative as her! Junk or funk? I am not bothered, but I CARE about being socially underdressed 80% of the time. When I overdress, it means that I go to the extend of wearing a brown V - neck dress with my -errms- white lady Converse high cut shoes. (I was ambitious and was succeeding the Lily Allen's look. Or that's what I think)
But on occasional days, I throw on an old pair of hot shots and sleeveless tops and call that school outfit for Saturday lessons. I think my hair is my best accessory (some prefer CONFIDENCE to be the ultimate accessory, ok that counts too, but I was referring to physical & tangible accessory la)
My preference:
Hair : Tousled or bun? Tousled, with wavy curls toward the end. Loose curly strands should be tamed with generous amount of mousse.
Make-up : Heavy duty plastic doll or Matte : Matte. Prefer to keep it to the minimum to the extend that I only apply on SPF 15 UV cream on my face and toner. Eyeliners are a must for me, except on the days where I run late for work.
Outfit (weekdays) : I always have to consider my corporate outlook when I dress for work. As much as I want to dress crazily, I am restricted to pencil skirts and semi-casual / formal tops for my office wear.
Outfit (weekends) : Calls for a dress-down day. I only get dressy when I feel the NEED to. Other than that, I don't dress at all.
KIDDING.
I throw on anything comfortable. From girly singlets and basic tops to mini Maxi dresses. Life is hard. I know.
Shoes : Wedges to go with my office wear. Shoot me. I only have 1 wearable shoe for work now. UNBELIEVABLE. I know, I think I should invest the reminder 20% of my salary on Sandals, Peep-toe shoes and plain Jane flats.
FASHION IS FUNNY AND IT'S AN INVESTMENT.
