Marble nail art work and China Glaze (first attempt)
I have always wondered how the China Glaze advertisement from Sephora will turn out. The video was showing how drops of nail enamel was dropped in water in differing shades to form rings of colours. But it makes no sense until today!
I saw on YouTube this amazing nail design and decided to give it a go:
I learnt that you have to use a specific kind of nail polish in order to make sure that the drops expands out in a *proper* ring-shape instead of "breaking out" like my first picture above. Once you are happy with the design that you see on the surface of water, dip your nail CAREFULLY with your nail part face-down and the layer of enamel will cover your nail.
Do note to cover the excess area around your cuticle with Scotch tape. Otherwise, the design will wrap around your whole finger and it is pretty difficult to remove.
This was my first attempt and it didn't go too well. I need PROPER China Glaze nail polishes!!!!
It's pretty time consuming, hence I would recommend you to do this nail work if you really have so much time to spare and feeling like an art fart. Otherwise, you will end up frustrated (like I did) and gave up after the 3rd try... partly because my nail polishes are not spreading out the way it should!

i tried this too but failed terribly! now i know it's the nail polish. great. we should try together....... someday...........
