Weird Wind
Wind or no wind, i will love Singapore's intolerable weather regardless of whatever circumstances i am in. I will definitely not want to trade ANYTHING (including snow!) for the weather in Singapore.
I always enjoyed the breeze as it makes you sway with the wind and urrrr, feels as if someone is caressing your face. I prefer the gentle breeze, and not those howling case of tornado kind of wind that makes you feel like it's almost the end of the world.
I have never realized how strong -and not to mention,irritating- the wind is as i was sipping a cup of drink by the bus stop until yesterday.
The wind gushes through your hair and makes your hair and fuzzy, and then it blows your hair from one side, to the other side of your face. And when the wind dramatically stops, your hair flops down on you and forms a perfect replica of Old Chang Kee's Curry O's. I saw myself in the refelction of passing cars and was appalled at how ridiculous the wind has made ME and MY HAIR look like.
Since i have hair that is blessed with endless curls, everytime the wind blows, my curls come alive and become 2 angsty octopuses fighting. Then the wind stops, which is very RARE, and the curls fall dead, ON MY FACE.
Hey ho, here comes the wind again! This time, the wind is milder, and the loose strands of hair brush gently across the face and cheekily formed a line of mustache under my nostrils.
And i don't dare to open my mouth, because everytime i do so, the ends of the hair get into my mouth and trust me, i will eat anything, but definitely not my own hair!
I am lucky that i don't have my hair cropped (tomboyish) short with the addition of hundreds of tiny tight curls, such as this lady beside me. Because everytime the wind blows from the front, her hair flies to the back, and eventually, she end up looking as if she had a pom pom as a wig.
Teehee.
But still, i would prefer the wind over the sun. So yes, i am enjoying it, despite the aftermath, which are the tangled up curls.
Well, keep on blowing!
