Thumbelina's Raya Outfit

I think my Raya outfit is a major success this year!

1) Gold 'studs' hairband
2) Wooden Bracelets to counterfeit old school Gold Bracelets
3) 3 inch heels with white floral prints to give a vintage look
4) Kate Spade Renwick Street Annabel (Blue) --I didn't want to invest in a new clutch!
5) Mild orange Thai Silk baju kurung with simple sequins and embroidery

My hair was a major success too! I twiddled the curls like mad when it was dripping wet, then applied 2 handfuls of mousse and half a handful more before I head out of house and voila! magic. I'm gonna do this everyday from now on!!!

It's really sad that I didn't get to wear my new heels, which I specially bought for the occasion because it gave me bitch assed blisters and I'm still SLOWLY recovering from it. I think this is the most severe blister(s) I've ever had. Sad :(

Blister boomsdale

I was intending to go for the rocker chick look too --adding style sense was not practical with these shoes.
Despite the slow recovery with the blisters (from hell), I enjoyed much of my day parading in my Baju which was specially handpicked by Z's momma!  I swear this is my first ever Baju that fits like a snug, because 90% of my Baju Kurung is like an oversized PJ to me. (The armpit area is like a parachute --that's how BIG my Bajus are)

Tell me about your Baju Raya! (Was yours VERY expensive that it exploded your bank account???)

Here I am again to wish you a Selamat Hari Raya!

xoxo
