and i love you

Ever wished that a guy walks up to you and surprise you with roses? Flower wilt and die but seriously, the "joy" and girlish excitement still looms up whenever someone just reaches out his hand to present to you a stalk/bouquet of rose/roses.
Hmm, i asked Zulky once, well, why not give flowers, he just gave a clever remark, saying that "flowers don't last my dear" which is perfectly true.
So i experimented. I decided to surprise him (which turned out to be a pathetic surprise) with A STALK of rose. Yea i know, gals don't give guys rose(s) but HECK. He shunned away the rose and stuck it into his sling bag.
I wasn't hurt but i just want to see what happens to the rose. Oh well, Zulky is REALLY good at keeping things. As the matter of fact, the rose dried out real nice. But i just wonder, where is it now after he shifted out of his old apartment.
But on a personal level, flowers appeal to gals more than anything, and wait, isn't that why brides hold bouquet of flowers - it makes them glow and beam.
Gahgahgah. No, i'm not asking for flowers for my next birthday or somesort, but have you ever wondered why throw petals of flowers on the bed and/or floor. Sets the mood up and fire up all emotions wild!
Put a flower in her hair, pluck a flower from the park and present it to her, bite a stalk of rose and do some tango dance with her, get the biggest flower you can find and hide your engagement ring inside and surprise her, all the silly things to play around with to surprise, surprise and SURPRISE her and of course, to make both you smile like cheeky teens once more.
Flowers serve so much purpose. Even if it doesn't last in the eyes of you and him, at least the moments that you share together are worth gazillion times more than any expensive rose that you'll ever get.
