More About Earth Hour From Me
Jubilation! It's freaking Friday. Tomorrow's Earth Hour Day and do i look like i care?
Ofcourse i look like i care. I'm a good environmentalist. I don't throw litter around like you do and bonus! I don't spit or leave my mucus around when i'm in public. Or at home.
I use recycled toilet papers both at home and at school. I don't buy pig skinned Gucci totes. Or horse skinned Hush Puppies shoes. Instead i have a Crocodile tshirt which by far is not made by crocodile skin. I told you i am a humble environmentalist.
I read the Today newspaper (which i got the habit of leaving them around after reading so as to SHARE the newspaper with others -imsogood) recently and everybody else in this world is going to "celebrate" Earth Hour. God, they make it sound as if it is the next New Year Party.
Hotels are having candlelight dinner offers and (and zulky will be doing his Guard Duty during the Earth Hour "celebration") hotel rooms discounts. And some brilliant hotel had actually offered the Sleep Naked Promotion. Everythings gonna be turned off so why sleep with your clothes on aye? Oh wells, you get the gist. Or you can choose to have a Pokerface (LAGY GAAAAAAAGAAAAAAA! she tha bomb) and lapdance every other guy in the club when you sneaked away from your BF. All together now, O-M-G!
I just think it's a brilliant idea to have this 60 minute thing. 60 minutes can sound insignificant to some. But still, if everybody does it together, i think we can save enough power to be shared and used by other humans in time to come.
But what's with the celebration? Like, wooh, Earth Hour.. off this off that...Don't turn on the air con in school, don't use the computer at work. hehe. We should really save the resources from the celebrations instead!!
Save paper. Rip those pages off your Sec 4 practical exercise book and use it as printing paper.
Save water. Bathe with a friend. I know my prof bathes alone. (He declared to the whole lecture theatre) You want to join him?
Save electricity. Use the PCs in school instead of laptops. Which is what i am doing right now. BECAUSE THE LAPTOP DIED.
I'm SUAAAVING.
