Who is Judas?

Found a catchy tune from Lady Gaga's latest radio hit entitled Judas. As usual, teeming with controversial, this title leaves you scratching your heads. "Why Judas?"

No I don't know much about Judas & I don't know if my Christian friends learn about this in their Bible studies.

But I feel "dirty" humming to the tune that calls after Judas.

Afterall, Judas was deemed to be the betrayer of Jesus, although this is not apparent in different testaments. This act of betrayal was interestingly portrayed with a Kiss.

The modern meaning of a Judas Kiss is  "an act appearing to be an act of friendship, which is in fact harmful to the recipient".

Good scenario : You plant a good bye kiss on your guy friend's cheek in FRONT of his girlfriend.
