Army Boys And Pregnant Ladies
Z and his army friend headed out for early dinner yesterday evening and I was around the block so I joined them for a chitty chatty session.
And I asked Z's friend, Ridhuwan : So, is it tiring?
"It" refers to NDP training for the Mobile Column for this year's National Day parade.
He replied: No, it's OK.
And that was that. I wasn't satisfied with the answer, so I asked Z : So is it tiring?
He replied: No, ok-ok la.
And then I see this:
DEFINITELY a sign of tiredness!
I realized how hard these NS boys work, but when I asked whether it is tiring, they replied an absolute NO. Probably it is just their Ego talking??? Who wants to appear like a weakling in front of a girl right? Especially when you are donned with your army greens and a civilian (me!) asked a very trivial question like Is it tiring?
I asked that because after their 5 day working/training schedule, they have NDP rehearsals on Saturdays that stretch up till 11pm.
Z works on Sundays too and that means 7 Days Work Per Week FTW?!
And when an NS boy falls asleep in a train and bitchy pregnant lady snapped his picture, it makes no perfect sense. Who is the one here that needs the seat more??? 6 months pregnant, SO???
How come pregnant ladies always think that we owe them a seat, a jump in que, a first to everything??

Z, sleeping like a baby. (source)
