Kawaii - Big Eye Contact Lenses

I love Japanese couture. Chic, young and fresh. Stockings and leggings, Hot shorts and oversized blouses, all these are so kawaii-neh. From head to toe, their fashion statement oozes cuteness.

I very much love to adopt such freaky (in a good way)  fashionista attitude - big ribbons, long false eyelashes and...'big eye' contact lenses!!!

There are boundless of online shops selling contact lenses from Korea(? - correct me if I'm wrong) and most of them, I am unable to verify whether they are authentic or permitted in Singapore or not.

So!!!! Here comes the exciting part....

 I headed down to my one and only optician and asked sweetly if they still sell coloured lenses. I was refering to those normal brown,grey,amethyst,green colour range when the guy whips out a different set of pamphlet to show me A NEW SET OF BIG EYE CONTACT LENSES!!!

Even the design on the box is cute! 1 pair of Big Eye coloured contact lenses is retailing only for SGD20!!! (USP SGD45) It's the GSS period, I should have bagged all 4 colours!

Me: Do you have lenses that are bigger than 14 in diameter?

Guy: Nope, we don't because those are too big for Asian eyes, 14 is just nice

WOW, all these while I thought in order to get BIG EYE effect, I need to get BIGGER diameter lenses! My theory = false.
