My Marina Bay Sands stay!
Ever wondered how does it feels like to stay in the all new AND exclusive Marina Bay Sands 5 stars hotel?
I am a lucky girl because Z decided to give a special treat for both of us for our 7th year anniversary. So imagine I was squirming with exciteSment and counting the days to our anniversary and WHAMS before I know it it's our big special day.
I was well prepared to be devoured with mighty splendours from the hotel - the accommodation, the skypark, the food and definitely the service... And so we stepped into Sands with SO MUCH ANTICIPATION!
First look, it's like a typical scene from a shopping mall, but let me falsify that thought, it's check-in/check-out peak hour hence the MASSIVE crowd lingering around the reception. Alot of LV luggage bags around too. I wonder if the luggage guys ever end up mixing up those LV bags.
Kiasu me wanted to take every angle of Sands. There's this strange looking wire sculpture hanging above my head.
55 stories for hotel accommodation splitted (literally) to 3 TOWERS and 57th story for the skypark (later in this post) Pretty awesome. We got lucky and had the 13th floor.
We hopped our way to the 13th floor and when we entered, my gob dropped to the floor. Cannot help but exaggerate la because it truly was a splendid room. So pristine. I almost felt like I'm taken far far away from home.
So I was itching to head to the skypark! Got to drag Z because he said he is scared of heights. Who isn't! 57th story leh!
Second day, we had the TIME and WEATHER on our side. We headed to ohlala sky pool. Unfortunate for you people, the skypool is not IN the skypark. You pay $20 only for sky PARK. Only stay in guests have access to sky POOL sorry.

Called the 'Executive work desk'
So dreamy looking omg
Huge assed TV that can swivel around! I didn't know TVs can swivel.
Balcony that is facing a whole lot of brown sand and cranes wth
Told you alot of sand and cranes and...trucks. Beat it.
Kind reception told us the rooms facing the City is full. The day before (Saturday), people actually quarrelled (typical Singaporeans - complain!) to get the room facing the City so that they can watch ... fireworks -,.- Nose shit Singaporeans. Got sky park for what!?
I enjoy the Sofa set. Makes me feel so homely.
Some artistic pictures from the restroom

Skypark at 57th story
The Singapore Flyer
There's plenty of things to see from the skypark! It was drizzling a tiny bit so the horizon looked hazy and blurish. But generally, it is so scenic.
The Marina Barrage
THE WHOLE CITY and the mountains (i think) from neighbouring country
And I like it best because
It is so WINDY!
Nice or not? I cropped to show this flag of ships. Singapore's thriving economy la.
Ready for a swim. A quite unflattering picture. I think.
I have always been amazed at the thought of sky POOL.
Have always dreamt of going to the one at Fullerton actually!
Nice day beds by the stretch of pool
Artistic cannnn? Juvenile attempt, please comment!
There's the endless stretch of pool and
