Man found dead at Queensway MRT did not love his ride
Last night Dad picked me up after an all night pre-Christmas dinner AND putting-up of Christmas tree celebration at the Z's, he was on his Motorola walkie talkie, when he disclosed some high-classified information with his partners on the other line. I was itching to tweet about it, but being a very CONSIDERATE daughter, I didn't follow my heart and didn't TWITTER because I didn't want HIM to get into trouble for having a busybody daughter.
I mean it was good enough that he is willing to pick up his golden girl from the bustop at that ungodly hour after work.
Ok, I thought it was superbly high classified information. So classified that the government will have to pay me thousands in bribery. Not that they would or could right? What's the point?!
But it came out in the news today.
Tragic? Yeah, maybe. If the man chooses to end his life in THAT way, who am I to judge or to say anything. I won't call him stupid for doing flips and land on the MRT track for the purpose of ending his life. But neither would I condone such 'stunts'. The last time I stub my toe against the chair, I cried ..or wait...screamed for mercy. Imagine the guts he (dead man) had to projectile himself towards the train!
I hope he is alright.
I know he is dead with a grotesque figure, but hopefully God repairs his bones and skin in heaven for him. Amin.
BUT life goes on, and I would not recommend you to ponder too long at this incident because...a few months ago, I take this brand new approach in life, thanks to the book I read from the library, entitled The Secret.
In order to succeed in life, YOU need to get away as far away as possible from incorrigible and negative thoughts. This is because you are a magnet. You attract whatever you think about. Your Thoughts turn to Things! The longer you ponder on about hardships and death incidents (such as the above) the more you will attack negative 'waves'.
DON'T TELL ME I DIDN'T WARN YOU.
So next time, smile, and say hi to your fellow train riders when you are waiting for the train at the platform, instead of trying to focus hard on jumping in and out of trains the moment the train doors inch open OR trying to balance yourself like a champion as the train swerve and and curve like you are snowboarding! If you are happy, they will be happy! No train 'jumpers'! Get it?
Which reminds me, what happened to 'Love Your Ride' campaign and jingles? I love it because it reminds uncouth Singaporeans to butt-in when there's space in the middle of the car. I think the problem now is not about Singaporeans learning how to love their ride, but IMPORTED talents to LEARN how to LOVE SINGAPOREAN'S ride because technically, they think pui it's not my country whatttt, go and die I can dig nose here for all I care whatttt.
FUGGYU!

This is horrible. Even though life can be hard, suicide is never an option
ReplyDeletenot everything can be solved by risking your own life. Sometimes we never knew that, when we alive, we are born with options. We can still turn back when the road are getting darker and darker. Just we want it a not. Suicide is not the answer for this. he never thought of his family members while he do projectile towards the train
ReplyDeletehi albert and nic da nic,
ReplyDeleteYea, it is tragic. But this is not the first incident. There were a couple of incidents before this. Perhaps now the train track is considered as the number one suicide place.
