Clarke Quay : My Secret Night Life
Dude, weekends are here. Calling party gals and cashless chaps (cashless 'cos broke after spending so much on doting girlfriends) , time to hit the other side of town for a nice all boys/all girls night out with 5 or 6 friends whom you met yesterday, but still insist on meeting them tonight because god forsaken sake it's the weekend!
I am a night owl. Love the moon, dark skies, bright lights, cool breeze stroking my hair, long conversations under dim street lights...all these screams ME.
Central at night
1 or 2 times, I was really tempted to hit Clarke Quay alone just to sit by the river bay and watch old school boats rocking the river. I know, I can be EMO.
By the Singapore River
Somehow, I learnt to appreciate the beauty of the night more than any other part of everyday. I enjoy the company of my other counterparts who are 20-ish too, romancing under the beams of street lights while I was just there with Z and a mini gang of guys who are very lovable -just for a friendly get together. They are so funny please.
Riverside point - Rows of restaurants and bars, including a famous Chinese seafood restaurant
But if you are in dire need of food and fantastic date out with your doting girlfriends (or wives whatever), hit to Riverside Point, like me and Z did.
Cafe Iguana. Need to make reservations! It was really packed when we arrived
Ignoring the logo of the restaurant(that looks like an eeky lizard on a wall!) we dined @ Cafe Iguana ala Mexican. It was Z's birthday dinner. Hot girlfriend + very delectable dinner + birthday! = Happiest Man 2010
Grilled prawns on skewer with onions, capsicum(?) ,nachos dip with cheese and my secret concoction
80% of the restaurants by the river have very poor lighting. Purposely made to be like that I guess, making photo-taking without flash ridiculously tough. *pouts*
Creative decoration at Cafe Iguana
Well, I'm looking forward for another night out to one of the other restaurants along Clarke Quay. So till then, feel free to suggest to me which restaurants there are worth trying!!! Longing for real good (don't care about price) unique dishes now.

2) IF you had already voted, gee, thanks a gazillion! Every vote means so much to this girl. I might just be in Hong Kong in one month's time! (First prize is to Hong Kong kekeke)
3) IF you have yet to vote for anyone, god, vote for me! Why waste your votes by NOT voting :)
