Guys Think Girls MUST Only Have Long and Very Silky Hair
Guys Think Girls MUST Only Have Long and Very Silky Hair - unfortunately, we are not born perfect you know!
Yes, thanks to shampoo adverts such as Sunsilk, L'oreal and many pop arty 'hair-related-adverts', everyone, especially guys think girls must only have silky hair. Not only silky, but long too.
Thank you media for brainwashing our guys that in this world, girls are only called girls when they have long 'tresses' (as quoted from WJ) - so long that it sways at their hips, and also shiny and silky.
Z told me the other day, Sayang look at your hair, it's so frizzy etc etc.
I replied: C'mon, i'm trying my best to be beautiful for you, it's hard work you know.
He said: Ya, but how come OTHER GIRLS' HAIR are not frizzy
I didn't reply to that because I was trying to swallow back all words that might come out nastay.
I said: Ok, compared to WHO? Jessica Alba? *sigh*
He said: *a long pause* No, my adek (sister ie mini Z) etc etc etc
But I get what he meant. He was trying a write a cover up story by comparing me with mini Z, when I KNOW VERY WELL 'OTHER GIRLS' refers to annoying blond heads who are major super stars like Jessica Simpson, along with Vanessa Hudgens (whatever) and Selena Gomez.
I know, these people live only to have good hair days.
Isn't it WEIRD/IRONIC, because guys LIKE the messed up hairdo (aka bed hair) when we girls wake up from bed,YES?
So we girls are in dilemma. Straight and silky hair, or ruffled-messed-curls-at-the-end hair? HMMM...
I don't know, I just love my hair, whether it's frizzy ( I am working on it dear ) or not.
Coincidentally, my blogger friend, WJ commented on Facebook:

Sunsilk - Delta Goodrem as ambassador/ Sunsilk hair model
L'Oreal - Beyonce as ambassador and model for their advertisement

Bed hair = unbearably sexy
*Ponders for a moment*

Question #1 : What IS the secret to frizzy-free hair?
(vote for me for the Singapore Blog Awards 2010)
Perhaps it's the after wash care?
(every vote counts!)
Question #2 : Guys, what kind of HAIR style do you prefer on your female significant other (SO)?
Perhaps straight and short, long and wavy, with bangs (fringe!) or without? Hur hur hur
